There are 749 new Covid-19 infections reported in 18 states across Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 85,560.
Lagos has 299 new Covid-19 cases; Plateau-131; Kaduna-83; FCT-74; Kwara-35; Sokoto-26; Edo-18 and Kano-17.
Katsina has 16 new Covid-19 cases; Delta-11; Nasarawa-10; Ondo, Bauchi-9; Rivers-5; Akwa Ibom-3; Jigawa, Osun and Ekiti-1 each.
Meanwhile, 580 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the infection bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 71,937

For casualty, 3 more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as national death toll rises to 1,267.
