It is a black Sunday for the families of eight children who were said to have accidentally locked themselves inside an abandoned car.
The said vehicle belonging to Saliat Kazeem was parked at Adelayo Street, Jah-Michael along Badagry Expressway, in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.

According to the statement issued by the Lagos State Command of Nigerian Police Force, bodies of the eight children have been recovered and deposited at the Badagry General Hospital for autopsy to determine the actual cause of their death.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu has also ordered a thorough and speedy investigation into the circumstances surrounding their death while he commiserates with the families of the deceased.
