Paul Thomas Anderson’s Political Thriller “One Battle After Another” Leads With Nine Nods.
Nominees for the 2026 Golden Globes Awards often referred to as “Hollywood’s Party of the Year” aimed at celebrating the best of film television and podcasting have been unveiled.
The announcement made by American actors Marlon Wayans and Skye Marshall at Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles California United States saw Paul Thomas Anderson’s Political Thriller “One Battle After Another” Lead the nominations pack with nine nods.
The film swept up five acting nods including nominations for the “Best Comedy”, “Best Director”, “Best Screenplay” and the”Best Writing”.
Coming close after is the multi-language family drama “Sentimental Value” with eight nominations.

American filmmaker Ryan Coogler’s springtime crowd-pleaser “Sinners” a vampire film and cultural commentary, wrapped in one was nominated in seven categories including the “Best Drama”, “Best Director” and the “Best Cinematic Achievement”.
While the Chloe Zhao’s historical tear-jerker “Hamnet” centered on the relationship between playwright William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes received six nominations in various drama categories.
American singer songwriter Ariana Grande is up for the “Best Supporting Female Actor”, while British Actress Singer and Songwriter Cynthia Erivo has been nominated in the “Best Female Actor” in the musical/ comedy category.
The 83rd Golden Globes awards is scheduled to hold on Sunday January 11, 2026 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles California United States.
