As Nigerian and residents of Katsina hold a cross-section of prayers to remember him, his legacies, selflessness, human empathy, detribalized nature, and the act of unifying the nation are the missing links leaders produced after him cannot fill.
The legacies, leadership qualities, and selflessness of late President Umaru Yar’adua are still lacking in the crop of leaders produced in present-day Nigeria, hence the search continues 13 years after.
These were the views of the late Yar’aduas allies and kinsmen in Katsina as they held a series of prayers in various mosques across the 34 locals areas of the state for God to keep blessing his soul, saying he was the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria.
The residents of Katsina further called on leaders to emulate the late Yar’adua for the country to be great again.
The prayer session held by different groups was for the continued repose of his soul.
