Today June 10 makes it exactly 4 years since the death of Former Super Eagles Coach, Shuaibu Amodu.
His former employers, the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF paid tribute to the late coach on their verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Amodu was first appointed coach of the super eagles in 1994 and he took the team to the 1995 FIFA Intercontinental Cup now FIFA Confederations Cup in Saudi Arabia where they finished fourth.

He made a return to eagles coaching role in 2001 with a qualification for the Korea-Japan 2002 FIFA World Cup but lost his job after a below-par 2002 African Cup of Nations, AFCON outing.
In his final return as coach of the Nigerian National team in 2008, he once again qualified the team for the 2010 world cup in South Africa, but still lost his job after a third-place finish at the 2010 AFCON in Angola.
It would be recalled that Amodu died just 3 days after the death of his former assistant in the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi.
