Members of the Nigerian political class have been advised to keep to their campaign promises to enable them remain focused on ways to alleviate the sufferings of their followers across the country.
General Secretary of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) Reverend Ayuba Aseshe and other clergymen gave the advise on Sunday during a church service in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, with a call for proactive steps to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal.

The clergymen while adding their voices to the growing concerns raised previously by several other interest groups across the country over the spate of insecurity and the impact of fuel subsidy removal on citizens, noted that an immediate upward review of workers salaries including other strategic approach to help stabilise prices of commodities remain key options to helping citizens get on with their lives.
The men of God, also called on Nigerians to play their part and emulate the nation’s founding fathers by building bridges across the length and breadth of the country.
The clergymen further noted that a safer and a well secured country can only be achieved through effective collaboration between government and citizens.
