The Kaduna State Government has pledged to provide psycho-social support for Treasure Ayuba, following his freedom from captivity.
Governor Uba Sani, who gave the directive when he received Treasure Ayuba at the Government House, also outlined measures to ensure the safety of schools in Kaduna State.
Last Thursday, 15-year-old Treasure Ayuba, the last of the 121 students at Bethel Baptist High School in Damishi, regained freedom, after two years and four months in captivity.
This visit by the Kaduna State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Joseph Hayap, to the Kashim Ibrahim House, was to present Treasure Ayuba to the Governor.
Treasure Ayuba said he never liked the experience all through the time he was with his abductors.
While expressing delight over the release of Treasure Ayuba, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, said various measures have been put in place, to safeguard schools in the state.
The governor said the state government is also working towards the establishment of a safe school fund, to safeguard the education of children in Kaduna State.
