The political drama surrounding membership of the Plateau State House of Assembly continued on Tuesday as the lawmakers resumed session after two months of recess.
First to arrive at the venue for sitting at the old Government House, was the Speaker and the Seven surviving members before the Court of Appeal judgment which sacked the 16 PDP lawmakers.
While they were in, the PDP 16 Lawmakers also arrived in company of their supporters who were chanting songs and hailing them.
The situation letter became tensed and led to the suspension of the plenary session by the House Speaker, Gabriel Dewan.

Dewan later told Journalists that the House has resumed but there won’t be any sitting because they have received a Court injunction and until all legal matters are addressed, there won’t be any plenary session.
The House Speaker who did not disclose the nature or facts of the Court injunction, also reiterated his stand on recognizing only Eight members of the House of Assembly for now,w until all issues are resolved.
