The Tunisia Government has pledged its commitment to deepening cooperation with Nigeria.
Tunisia’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Mohsen Antit made the pledge at a business round table forum in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
In 2018, Nigeria and Tunisia signed six Memoranda of Understanding, MoU on energy, trade, cultural cooperation, youth development, social affairs and consumer protection.
During that meeting the two countries re-committed to their partnership and strengthened the long-standing political and socio-economic relations based on shared principles of friendship, alliance building and sovereign equality.
These and more are what the Ambassador says his country is ready to achieve with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Meanwhile, the tag along syndrome of the African continent is a source of concern for the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang who participated in the forum.
He called on African leaders to close existing gaps among them in the interest of the economic sustainability of the continent.
The meeting was attended by the Tunisia Africa Business Council and friends of Tunisia
