After several months, the Tripartite Negotiation Committee on Minimum Wage ends with two recommendations to President Bola Tinubu as Government with Organised Private Sector and Organised Labour delegations disagree on final figure.
The Government and Organised Private Sector delegations have recommended N62,000 while Organised Labour reviewed its demand to N250,000 at last meeting of the Tripartite Committee.
Chairman of Tripartite Negotiation Committee, Abba Aji says members are only to make recommendations to President Tinubu for onward transmission of Executive Bill to the National Assembly.

Imo Governor, Hope Uzodimma says Government and the Organised Private Sector agreed on N62,000 which they believe is fair enough based on revenue challenges.
Meanwhile, Trade Union Congress, TUC President, Festus Osifo says government must realise the realities of the times and give workers living wage as Organised Labour insists that N250,000 is the only fair option.
