In a decisive move to maintain law and order, the Cross River State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police Gyogon Grimah, has made significant strides in tackling crime.
The Commissioner of Police who was represented by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo, spoke during a media briefing held in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
In the last four months, the Cross River State Police Command has successfully arrested 20 suspects involved in heinous crimes, including rape, kidnapping, possession of firearms, cultism, and armed robbery.

The suspects are set to be charged to court, marking a significant step in the state’s fight against crime. AIT.live gathered that a key element of the Command’s strategy is to foster collaboration with the communities.
