Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule says human and infrastructural development remains a priority and can be seen through various federal and state intervention projects which his people need to consider and not join the proposed protest
Governor Sule said this shortly before commissioning the 23km Kokona-Agwada Road valued at N3.2bn after his return to the country from his trip to China.He added that
the new minimum wage will be paid from May 2024.

The commissioning of this 23km Agwada Kokona road valued at 3.2 billion naira and the 4.5km Gudi Township Road valued at N2.19bn is expected to improve the road network while the construction of the Gudi Travelers Market will reduce and stop indiscriminate hawking by children on the busy Akwanga-Keffi expressway.
The Gudi Travelers Market is a pilot project to be replicated in areas like Mararaba, Alushi and Karu. This will lead to a ban on hawking by the roadside.

On the proposed protest Sule explained that at every available opportunity, his administration has always listened and intervened with a view to reducing the hardship being experienced by his people.
He stated that his administration will commence the payment of the new minimum wage from May this year with full implementation in August 2024
The Nasarawa government also recently threw its weight behind the financial autonomy for local governments.
The immediate past governors of the state, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-makura and Abdullahi Adamu also appealed to Nigerians to support the administration of President Tinubu and to give peace a chance.
