The Nigerian government is yet to react to the strike by Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP starting today, December 2.
Efforts by AIT to get official reaction from the ministry’s spokesperson have not been successful.
According to an Ex-officio and former president of ASUP, Anderson Ezeibe, all polytechnics, both federal and state are complying by staying away from work.
AIT investigation also shows that Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo state, and Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa are some of the institutions that have withdrawn their services.
