Commercial motorcycle riders in Kogi State have called on the appropriate authorities to do the needful to stop alleged multiple levies by the State Government and incessant harassment by the police or else they will be compelled to shut their services in the State.

The Commercial motorcycle riders made the appeal during their protest against the government and police at their union office in Lokoja on Monday.

Protesting commercial motorcycle riders who came out in their numbers to register their grievances complained about what they called persistent extortions and harassment from officers of the Nigeria Police force which has affected their businesses negatively.
