Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf says his administration has fulfilled eighty five percent of the promises made to the people of the state during the 2023 electioneering campaign, with only fifteen per cent left going into the remaining part of his first term.
The governor who said this while swearing in a new chief of staff and eleven special advisers, charged them to complement his efforts by reaching out to the people at the grassroots.
It’s the swearing in ceremony of a newly appointed chief of staff, Suleiman Sani, a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Policy and strategic studies, a Director General for special services, Major General Sani Mohammed retired and eleven special advisers.

In what seems like a self-appraisal based on key performance indicators achieved so far by his administration, Governor Yusuf declares that he has fulfilled eighty five percent of the campaign promises made to the people within two years.
The governor charges the new appointees to reach out to the people at the grassroots as the essence of their appointments revolves around the electorates
Some of the newly appointed special advisers were elevated from their previous positions as senior special assistants, a development the governor says is a reward for their hard work and loyalty.
