The Osun state government has flagged off a 6-month skill acquisition training program, networking for 100 young citizens with the aim of enhancing their capacity building, employability, entrepreneurship, and high-demand digital skills in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 6-month training was aimed at empowering the youths of the state freely, targeting the undergraduates, unemployed and others who are interested in system networking installation.
The Federal Government, in partnership with the Osun State Government, has trained 100 youths and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members in key digital skills aimed at boosting employability, innovation and youth participation in the digital economy.
Representative of Osun Sustainable Development Goals, Banke Adeyeye, disclosed that the participants will receive class training for four months and internship training for two months, with long term expectation of driving innovation and increasing productivity

Participants are optimistic that the training will expose them to wider opportunities in digital transformation and innovation.
According to the organizers, the initiative is to train one million youths under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) which is designed to drive employment creation and economic growth
