There is renewed hope for peace and tranquillity among residents of Zamfara State as Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of 30 days of Ramadan fasting.
In the state capital, Gusau, worshippers gathered at the Eid prayer ground, united in faith and a shared desire for a more peaceful future.
It was a solemn yet joyful convergence of the Muslim Ummah, as men, women, and children observed the two raka’at Eid prayers led by the Imam signifying the end of Ramadan.
Moments after the prayers, emotions ran deep. For many residents, this year’s Eid is more than a celebration, it is a heartfelt appeal for lasting peace in a state that has faced years of insecurity.
