As Nigeria prepares for another election cycle, efforts are intensifying to ensure that citizens at the grassroots are not left behind in conversations around governance and civic participation.
To ensure this, FactCheckAfrica, in partnership with its Digital Democracy Lab digital tools designed to help citizens better understand governance and track public funds.
The Project Lead, Lukman Adeoti, unveiled the initiatives at a press conference held in Osogbo, where he highlighted the need to new civic initiative to make government information simpler and more accessible to ordinary Nigerians.
He explained that the initiative introduced three civic tools, KedereAI, GovQuest, and The Power Deck.

Some team members explain that each is designed to reach different segments of society through technology, gaming, and physical learning materials.
Organisers say the goal is not just civic education, but building a generation of informed citizens capable of asking questions, demanding accountability, and participating actively in democratic processes.
