Federal Government has launched the Inclusive Network for Supporting Progressive Leadership, Innovation, Reforms and Equity for Women, INSPIRE initiative, to address barriers facing women in the civil service.
Speaking at the International Civil Service Conference, the wife of the President, Oluremi Tinubu, who unveiled the initiative under the civil service reform agenda, called for early leadership mentorship and stronger inclusion for women in the Federal Civil Service.
According to Oluremi Tinubu, women continue to play vital roles across the public sector, often carrying out their responsibilities with discipline, dignity and dedication.
She, however, stressed the need for deeper inclusion and greater opportunities for women to shape decisions and influence outcomes within public institutions.
Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, described the initiative as a strategic platform designed to strengthen workplace participation, professional growth, fairness and efficiency within the civil service.
