The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, has charged the media to interrogate ongoing civil service reforms and hold public institutions accountable.
Walson-Jack gave the charge at a special interactive session with media correspondents and editors at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja.
She said constructive criticism and informed scrutiny are essential to strengthening institutions, urging journalists to report the achievements and challenges of the Federal Civil Service accurately, fairly and objectively.

The Head of Service commended the media for its coverage of the policies and reform initiatives of the Office, saying such reports had helped Nigerians understand the transformation taking place in the Civil Service.
As she approaches the end of her tenure, Walson-Jack expressed confidence that the partnership between the media and the Civil Service would endure, urging journalists to continue telling the full story of the Service and keeping it to the highest standards.
