The FCT Command of the Nigeria Police Force has announced that six-year-old Haneem Hussaini Bello, who was found wandering around NNPC Towers area in the Central Business District of Abuja on September 4, 2026, has been reunited with his grandmother.
In a statement signed by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, the Command said the reunion followed its appeal for public assistance in identifying the child’s family.
The Police explained that the child’s grandmother, who had been with him before he was separated from his family, was identified and contacted.

The Command added that, after due verification, Haneem was safely reunited with his grandmother.
The FCT Police Command appreciated members of the public for their support, cooperation and timely information, noting that the collective efforts of the Police and the public led to the successful identification of the child’s family and his safe reunification with his loved one.
