Reverend Father Mikah Suleiman who was abducted from his rectory at Damba area of Gusau in Zamfara State on Saturday, June 22 has been released by his abductors.
In a one-minute and twenty-second video by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Mathew Kukah said “surprise, surprise, I have with me a friend of mine which I wish to introduce to you”.

The victim in the video thanked the people for their prayers and support towards his rescue and said by the grace of God he is out of the hands of bandits and now in the Office of the National Special Àdviser, NSA, with his brother Father Chike.
It could be recalled that in the early hours of Saturday, June 22, Father Mikah Suleiman was abducted in the Father’s Rectory in the Damba area of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
Father Mikah who works under the Sokoto Catholic Diocese is the Parish Priest of St. Raymond Catholic Church Damba, Gusau, Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.
