Abductors of Plateau Monarch demand N18m ransom For His Release

The abductors of the paramount ruler of Mhiship Nation in Plateau Plateau State, His Royal Highness Sunday Dajep has contacted the family three days after he was abducted.

The abductors who have not communicated with the family since Wednesday night when the Monarch was kidnapped at his Palace in Pankshin Council area of Plateau, broke the silence in the early hours of Saturday demanding N18m.

A family’s Source who preferred to remain anonymous told our correspondent on Saturday that the abductors have placed a demand of N18m from them before the Monarch is released.

According to the family source, the Kinsmen of the Monarch have had several meetings on what they could afford, preparing for the kidnappers’ next call, but did not disclose what they’ll offer the abductors.

The Plateau State Police Command, through it’s spokesman DSP Alfred Alabo, who also confirmed the incident said investigation into the unfortunate incident was ongoing to ensure that the traditional ruler is rescued unhurt and the culprits arrested and prosecuted according to the law of the land.
