Abia State Governor, Alex Oti, has ordered the immediate freezing of all accounts of the State government and its agencies lodged in all financial institutions.
In a press release signed by his media aide. Ferdinand Ekeoma, Otti maintained that all financial institutions should disregard any cheque, documents, or directive not issued by him.

The Governor also directed the immediate dissolution of all boards of the Abia state government’s agencies and parastatals.
Governor Otti also approved the appointment of Kenneth Kalu as Secretary to the State Government, while Caleb Ajagba is now Chief of Staff to the Governor.
