Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has described transportation is the oil that powers the wheels of trade and commerce.
Governor Ikpeazu made the comments to visiting members of the Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, led by its National President Alhaji Musa Mohammed.
The Governor said that RTEAN has made meaningful contributions to economic growth in the country.

The National President of the Association, said the association is willing to collaborate with the government to rebrand and reorganise the transport sector.
He also promised to ensure the Association creates cohesion among members in support of the state government’s policies.
