Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka, all the affected members are to handover government properties in their possession, together with their handover notes, to their respective Permanent Secretaries.

The Governor expresses his deep appreciation for their services to the people of Abia State and wishes them well in their future endeavours .
Governor Ikpeazu, has also recalled from suspension his Chief of Staff, Anthony Agbazuere, with immediate effect.
Agbazuere was late last year suspended from office, after an online video of him spraying money on a popular Nigerian pastor known as Odumeje, flooded the internet.
