The 2025 National under 12 and 15 handball championships have been concluded in Umuahia, with the host Abia State emerging the champions in both the male and female under 15 categories.
Team Sokoto State won the under 12 male category while Benue state clinched the female category.
Speaking after the presentation of trophies, the Secretary General of National Handball Federation, Monica Otumala and the Director, Abia State Sports Council, George Obioma emphasized that the championship has provided young athletes a unique opportunity to showcase their talents at a higher level.
