Abubakar Momoh Promises To Make A Difference In Niger Delta

The Minister of Niger Delta Hon. Abubakar Momoh says the Ministry under him will vigorously pursue the 8-point Agenda as enshrined in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Road map of recovering Nigeria from its abysmal condition Niger Delta Region inclussive.

The Minister who stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Oborevwori with his entourage at Government House Asaba Delta State said the dilapidated condition of virtually all the federal roads in Niger Delta Region frustrated movement of those supposed to be part of his delegation and were forced to retreat

The Minister’s lamention on experience of the team billed to join him but got stuck around Edo state and the Eleme axis in Rivers state summed up the dilemma and the excrutiating pains the South South road users were subjected to over the years.

In view of the abysmal failure, the Minister is seeking collaboration with the state governors to change the narrative

Governor Oborevwori who agreed to collaborate with the Minister, charged him to match his words with action so as to emancipate the Region from the quagmire facing the people that produce the highest wealth of the nation. .

Oborevwori informed the minister how his administration in the face of difficulties awarded 78 Billion Naira road contract to Julius Berger for Warri and Effurun a Federal Government road.
