The stage is set and Nigerian Youths are celebrating as the annual Chief of Naval Staff Under 14 Boys and the NOWA Under 17 girls tournaments get underway.

The competitions put together by the Youth Sports Federation Of Nigeria, YSFON, is already attracting over 28 teams across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

National Secretary of the Youth body, Patrick Okpavhuere says it’s always a memorable time when Nigerian Youths Converge and YSFON will continue to appreciate the Nigerian Navy for their unwavering commitment to uplifting and shaping the fortunes of Nigerian Youths

An excited President of the Organization and Deputy Governor of Kano State Dr. Nasiru Gawuna says, as a Patriot, he’s encouraged to give back to the society and fight to take the youth out of crimes, drug addiction, and unwholesome activities that will give Nigeria a bad image

Therefore he insisted that YSFON will work with other relevant sports bodies and governments to rebuild the nation through discipline, development, and Youth empowerment

The Chief Of the Naval Staff and NOWA Cup Competitions now in the 10th edition have brought considerable growth and exposure to the Nigerian Youths, some of whom are now playing in big leagues in Europe and beyond. Players like Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Victor Osimhen, amongst others, can tell a better story.

The 2021 CNS and NOWA tournaments are scheduled for the 20th through the 27th of November in Abuja.

Given the antecedents, football Agents and Scouts will also be in attendance to hunt for talents and give spice to the football festival.
