Residents and the management of EFAB Queens Estate have debunked the news making the rounds
that some persons were abducted by bandits in the estate Monday morning.
The people who spoke to AIT explained that it was a case of robbery attack by hoodlums who made away with some valuables from an apartment in the estate.
The social media was flooded on Monday with reports that some persons were abducted from the Estate by bandits or terrorists.
Residents debunked the reports saying it was a case of armed robbery.

They told AIT that some hoodlums had actually broken into an apartment in nearby EFAB QUEEN’S ESTATE and made away with some valuable
Security operatives in the estate also confirmed it was a robbery case and not banditry or acts of terrorism as widely speculated on social media.
The FCT Police Command confirmed it was robbery, stressing that no one was kidnapped in the attack.
