Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun has appeared before the Nigerian Senate for screening as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun who was appointed on 22 August 2024 by President Bola Tinubu and is on her way to become Nigeria’s second female Chief Justice of Nigeria.

She was appointed acting chief justice of the Federation upon the retirement of incumbent chief justice, Olukayode Ariwoola.
