A Human rights group has raised worries that the off season Edo and Ondo States governorship elections may also be marred with electoral fraud if the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) fail to bring erred staff to justice.
The warning was issued at a protest held in Abuja by a human rights group, Concerned Citizens of Kogi State Forum.
The group said it passed a Vote of no confidence on the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, stressing that as the Chairman of the electoral body, he may not be able to deliver credible and transparent polls in the Edo and Ondo States governorship election on September 21st, 2024.
