Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has issued a stern warning to members of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), in the state that engage in alleged anti-party activities during elections to desist or face sanctions by the ruling Party in the State.

The Governor, who frowned at he described as the unpatriotic behaviour, reminded the Party members of the need to remain united, as they face the forthcoming Local Government Council polls, scheduled to take place in a few weeks time.

ait.live Correspondent reports that the Governor also directed all PDP Chairmanship candidates to pick women as running mates.

Governor Fintri spoke at a gathering of stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in Adamawa State, where they took stock of their journey so far, and sought for ways to further re-energise the Party, especially as they face Local Government elections.

The Governor who is the leader of the Party in the State charged the members to be honest in their political dealings, and not engage in activities that are capable of pulling the Party backward.

The State Party Chairman, Tahir Shehu, reminded the PDP stakeholders of their privileges as Party members, with a charge on them to deliver victory for all the PDP candidates in the forthcoming Local Government Council polls.
