Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State says, the delivery of democracy dividends is the right of the electorate, which must be met by their leaders.

The governor said this Monday, during the flag off of township road construction, in the Federal Housing Community, in the Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

It was a ground-breaking ceremony for the continuation of the road networks in Adamawa State, which is part of the governor’s Eleven-point Agenda, where the urban renewal drive forms a priority.

Monday’s commitment is a way of providing the needed solutions to the problems of the inhabitants of the Federal Housing Estate, Bajabure, through the construction of an 18.3-kilometre road, into and around the estate.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri says, it is the right of the citizens of the state to be served by those who swore to govern them, hence his determination to meet the infrastructural needs of the people of the state.

The Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, had told the gathering, that many of such projects had been achieved for the state in the last five years of the governor in office and still counting.

The leader of the contracting firm appreciated the state government for trusting them with the project, and promised to deliver within the contractual deadline.

The community, represented by their chairman, thanked the governor for the gesture, and promised to take care of the facility, upon completion.
