Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state says democracy remains one of the best form of Government as it gives citizens the privilege to decide who governs them
The Governor said this while speaking to newsmen, shortly after casting his ballot in Madagali his hometown during local government elections which held across the 21 local government areas of the state Saturday 13th July.
It is a moment of political decision by the people of Adamawa state who turned up to elect their local government leaders to include Chairmen and Counsellors across the 21 local government councils of the state following the tenure elapse of the preceded administration

He adjudged the exercise as hitch-free
Election materials were made available at respective polling units across the state according to the Adamawa state independent electoral commission who spoke to news crew during his supervision of the exercise, just like the state comptroller of immigration service adjudged the exercise as smooth
