Adamawa Police ban unauthorized siren use, tinted glass

The Police in Adamawa have banned the unnecessary use of sirens, tinted glass, and covered number plates in the state, The ban is contained in a statement issued by the commands public relations officer DSP Suleiman Nguroje.

Nguroje said the ban is aimed at preventing acts capable of misleading security personnel and create fear in the minds of peace-loving people, He said that the command was working with other security agencies to put in places robust crime prevention strategies such as visibility policing, foot and vehicular patrols.

He called on the people to join hands with the police in keeping the state safe and to report any suspicious person or group to the nearest police station.
