Adamawa State Police Command says it will fish out remnants of criminals camping at the border region of the state.
According to the Police public relations officer, Adamawa state, Suleiman Nguroje, the police in collaboration with local vigilante was able to dislodge the criminal hideouts at the Lamunde Hill and National Park communities, connecting part of the Cameroun Republic and the southern part of the state.
He said the police will not relent in its fight against kidnapping, banditry and other kinds of crimes.
The state government on its part, urge members of the communities to be vigilant of strangers in their areas and warned the people not to habour criminals because they will be at the receiving end.
Former Governor of the State Bala James Ngillari, has attributed the spate of insecurity in the state to youth restiveness.

He is of the opinion that engaging the youths through skills empowerment, will go a long way at bringing lasting solution to criminality in the state.
