Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole says he remains committed to the decision of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to dissolve the National Working Committee of the party (NWC) on June 25,2020.

Oshiomhole reaffirms his position following insinuation that he was the brain behind a renewed move to declare the caretaker/extraordinary committee illegal by a court.

National Vice-chairman of the sacked NWC, Hilliard Eta has approached a court to declare the committee illegal, following plans to extend its approved it’s tenure beyond December 25.

Oshiomhole says he has no hand in the latest development adding “that chapter of my political life is closed even if another NEC decision or court order reverses the dissolution, I will decline to return as APC Chairman”.

The former APC Chairman says he has publicly accepted the dissolution regardless of its illegality or otherwise and praised the 18 of the 21 NEC members, who were loyal to the cause of the party until June 25, 2020.
