A former Governor of Kaduna State and a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nasiru El-Rufai says the President Bola Tinubu-led administration has derailed with the embezzlement of public funds, and has failed to tackle insecurity and hunger in the Country.

El Rufai made the claim during a meeting with youth and women groups under the ADC in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.

The African Democratic Congress( ADC), is mobilising the electorate and scheming to unseat the All Progressives Congress ( APC) led administration at the centre.

It is highlighting insecurity, hunger and what it calls discrimination along ethnic and religious lines as some of the problems which the Tinubu-led administration has failed the Nigerian people who gave him the mandate.

The former Kaduna State Governor urged members of the party to come together and do all they can to unseat the APC government from power, as he called on the youth and women to participate actively in the ongoing voter registration and the ADC membership registration, which will soon commence.

He revealed that the party will field people of impeccable character, free of corruption cases and those who participate in the ADC primaries will emerge as candidates of the party at respective levels.

Other ADC leaders who spoke in Hausa Language emphasised the need for unity among members of the party to build ADC into a formidable party well-positioned to win the 2027 General election.

For them, the ADC is the political party to bring about the desired change that Nigerians are yearning for.
