The Founder of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ralph Nwosu says he will appeal the High court judgment which removed him as National Chairman of the party.
At a media conference in Abuja, Nwosu said the court verdict will not stand once tested on appeal, and assured party members that the Patricia Akwashiki-led executive will be sent packing.
On the party’s presidential candidate, Nwosu claims Dumebi Kachikwu will not fly the party’s flag, even though the businessman and media entrepreneur is conspicuously listed on the INEC website as the ADC candidate
Nwosu claimed his group is working closely with INEC to ensure that details of polling agents from his faction are uploaded on the commission’s platform before the deadline, and expressed optimism that the party’s 1,411 candidates will be victorious.
On Tuesday, Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja removed the Ralph Nwosu-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress and nullified all actions taken by it from the 21st of August 2022.
