Rivers State-born Nollywood Actress and Humanitarian, Tonto Dikeh, has been nominated as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC) in the state.
Tonto Dikeh’s nomination as running mate was made known by the governorship candidate of the party, Tonte Ibraye, via his Instagram page, on Friday, June 24th, saying the Nollywood actress was chosen, following a series of consultations with party leaders of the African Democratic Congress, (ADC), in Rivers State, and at the national level.
The governorship candidate said the party is pleased to welcome Tonto Dikeh to the #RiversRescueMission2023, as the party strives to improve the standard of living of the people of Rivers State.
The actress has also taken to her Instagram page, to reciprocate the warm gesture, by thanking Tonte Ibraye, for nominating her for the office of the Deputy Governor of Rivers State.
