Addressing road traffic congestion: Stakeholders decry indiscriminate parking of articulated vehicles

The indiscriminate parking of articulated vehicles on major highways and its adverse effects on human lives, infrastructure, and vehicular movement has continued to be a source of worry to the government and other concerned Nigerians.

At a stakeholders meeting in Ogere, Ogun state Monday facilitated by the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, at the instance of Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, the consensus by the different speakers at the event was to make the existing trailer parks conducive for use.

Major stakeholders including FRSC, Officials of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, police, truck drivers, and owners, meet in Ogere, Ogun State to discuss the way forward over the indiscriminate parking of articulated vehicles on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
