Canadian rapper, Drake has won a whooping sum of $2.7 million from a bet prediction on Nigerian-born New Zealander professional mixed martial artist, and kickboxer Israel Adesanya’s fight with his Brazilian counterpart, Alex Pereira.
The duo who are in the Middleweight Division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC had a fight on Saturday, April 9 held at the Kaseya Centre in Miami, Florida, United States, which saw Nigeria’s Adesanya knock out Pereira at UFC 287 to reclaim the Middleweight title.

When Israel Adesanya “The Last Stylebender” as he is often called was asked about Drake’s bet after his fight, he responded, “Shoutout to everyone that bet on me but you have to realize that when I step into the octagon I put my life on the line. That’s the biggest parlay you can ever do. I’m a betting man too so shoutout to Drake, we are about to make another deal and get more money.”
