Residents of Ado Ekiti have appealed to the Ekiti State government to without further delay dredge the Elemi river and reconstruct the Tinuola bridge.
The residents who lamented neglect by the Ekiti State appealed to relevant government agencies to come to their aid.

They described as harrowing their experience on Tinuola road whenever it rains heavily with the carnal overflowing the bridge.
They said the carnal often overflows; flooding their homes and destroying their valuables.
In his response, the Chairman of Ekiti State Emergency Management Authority, Sunday Adebomi while promising prompt response of the state government; advised residents to stop the habit of dumping wastes in drainage channels.
