The Yoruba socio-cultural Group, Afenifere has set up a reconciliatory Committee to bring all factions within the group together to restore its core values and tradition.
After a meeting at the Akure country home of its national leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti,The group said the move became imperative for total restoration.
In the build up to the 2023 General Election in Nigeria,there was a serious division within the ranks of the yoruba Socio-cultural Group, Afenifere.

It is to bring an end to the impasse within the group , that informed the gathering of members of Afenifere across the south west state at the country home of the national leader to take urgent remedial actions.
The National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, Jare Ajayi while reading the communique said the group resolved that a committee to achieve reconciliation and unity be set up.
Other members of the group including former National Secretary of APC, Iyiola Omisore agreed to the various resolutions reached that would bring sanity to the group.
The Afenifere concluded that the Deviation from the basic Principles of the group has been responsible for the undesirable turn of events in the last two years.
