The Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has called on President Bola Tinubu to use the occasion of his second anniversary in office to set machinery in motion to restructure the country and to also ensure immediate take-off of State Police
Arising from the caucus meeting of the organization, held at the residence of its leader, Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, the National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi expressed his concern over the worsening security situation in the country saying there is need to take more decisive action.
Afenifere also announced former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Olu Falae, as the Chairman, National Executive Committee of the organisation.
Ajayi said the appointment of Falae was to reinvigorate the organization with a view to ensuring that the House of Oduduwa is back on track to project the Yoruba mandate.
The meeting was attended by members of the organisation from the six south-western states and the North Central states of Kogi and Kwara
