The youth wing of the pan Yoruba socio-cultural Group, Afenifere has called on the acting national Leader of the group, Pa Ayo Adebanjo to step down in the interest of peace.
The group known as the Yoruba Afenifere youth organization of Nigeria gave the order on Tuesday during a protest to the country home of the National leader of the Group, Pa Reuben Fasoranti in Akure, Ondo state.

The youths led by Eric Oluwole faulted pa Adebanjo for bringing so much disunity to the association during and after the last General Election.
Oluwole said the vote of no confidence earlier passed on him still subsists and that he should stop parading himself as the acting national leader of Afenifere.
They said pa Adebanjo does not have the power to suspend any national officer of the group without the approval of Pa Fasoranti.
Speaking while addressing the protesters, Chief security officer to Pa Reuben Fasoranti, urged the youths to be calm as there will be solution to the issues raised.
