The Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS) is set to partner Africa Union (AU) to implement the 2063 Agenda, a blueprint and master plan aimed at transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of future generations.
This was contained in a press release made available to AIT in Ilorin the State capital on behalf of the Director General of the Institute, Comrade Issa Aremu by the Deputy Director Special Duties and Public Relations of the Institute, Emmanuel Ojo.
Issa Aremu in the statement said there was urgent need to integrate Agenda 2063 into the existing educational system noting that Africa needs education development which he says is underpinned by science, technology and innovation.

The newly appointed DG of MINILS said the institute through its activities is set to complement the functions of the federal ministry of labour and employment of Nigeria and African governments in general through its training, research and human resource development especially in areas like capacity building and industrial relations.
The revelations are coming on the sideline of Africa Day, a day set aside to commemorate the freedom of African Nations from foreign domination and colonial rule. The day also highlights the milestones in terms of socio-economic progress of Africa and its people as much as it underlines the opportunities and challenges for the continent’s transformation among others.
