African leaders are making efforts to ensure visa-free movement for their citizens moving from one African country to another.
Delegates from the East African Legislative Assembly and the ECOWAS Parliament indicated this on Thursday at a joint meeting held in Abuja.
The Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Siddie Tunis, said the two regions are working together to unite the entire African continent, for the benefit of its citizens.
They also said that plans are ongoing by the ECOWAS to mediate the crisis currently rocking Sudan, as it directly or indirectly affects the entire continent.
