Nigeria has dropped further down the global corruption rankings, placing 142nd out of 182 countries and territories in the 2025 Corruption Perceptions Index
According to the report released by Transparency International, TI on Tuesday, the country retained a score of 26 out of a possible 100 but slipped two places from its 2024 position of 140th.
In last year’s assessment, the country was ranked among 180 countries with the same score.
